Spoke with Hammerli (Walther) last week about the Xesse and asked if they were aware that it isn't sold in California. I explained to the rep that since they had renamed the guns the Olympic listing didn't work. She said she'd look into it.
Hard to believe they don't notice no sales in Cali, but OK.
I called today and was told that Walther was sending all 4 of the new line to USA shooting and from there it would go to DOJ.
No idea how looooooooooong this could take, but it's a start.
She is talking to their compliance officer about currnet guns and will get back to me next week.
About the SKU:
This site lists the SKU for the Hammerlis, but I don't know how you could check that against the Olympic list. I'd imagine an FFL could do it.
