The weight of that 422 is very light for the size.
422 = 24oz Frame aluminum alloy, 22oz for shorter barrel.
2206 = 39oz Frame stainless steel.
22A-1 = 42oz Frame aluminum alloy, feels like pot metal.
My dad went with me to pick up my first handgun....2206
Of the three I do shoot the 22A-1 the most.
My 2206 has thousands of rounds down the pipe.
Barrel is extremely worn, picked up another just need to install.
Broken many recoil guide plugs.
Started building up my spare parts bin 422/2206
