    Ruger SR22 Recall

I did a search and did not see this posted anywhere, so if this is a dupe, please delete.

From Ruger . . . In rare instances, if the left and right frame inserts of Ruger SR22 pistols are not properly secured together, the firing pin blocker lifter and hammer block can move independently of each other, potentially rendering them ineffective. If this situation occurs, the pistol will intermittently exhibit a “slack” single-action trigger ... Read more

Can you link the dumb downed video? Asking for a friend.

Based on the describe fix. This should not require a replacement of the whole firearm. Just nervous about sending an off-roster pistol out with the chance they may want to replace the entire firearm.

Ruger is very familiar with the Roster, so I would be surprised if this was an issue that affected the Roster.

Got my SR22 back yesterday for repair and apparently recall work since it was in. I sent it in for slide damage.

They replaced my takedown lever with a metal one, sear pivot pin, slide stop, mag disconnect and the slide itself (with a beefier one).

I would be concerned too. See my post (#6) in this thread: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...highlight=LC9s
When I was still in CA, Ruger wouldn't even send me a part for my off-roster LC9s (got it through SSE at the time). Fortunately, my FFL got the part for me.

Yes, rep on the phone assured me the repair would not require a change of serial number which would cause a return to owner issue.
