    17 revolver

i kinda want to get a revolver soon and i was wondering if there is anyone making a good 17 caliber revolver? i have been noticing that all the stores still have plenty of 17hmr in stock so i think this will be my next purcahse if i can find a decent cheap one

You can always go single action. Ruger has the single six in .17 hmr.

The S&W 647 is an awesome revolver... http://www.shootingtimes.com/handgun_reviews/sw_17647/

Some people laugh at the idea of a 3.5 lb. .17 HMR revolver with an 8" barrel, but it sure gets the job done!

wow. i was actually un aware ruger did a single six in 17 cal. i am a fan of those and have had my eye on a 22lr/22mag model for a while now... just keep spending my money on other stuff though. but seeing as how im going to get the 22 version of this, i think ill look into the 647. thanks

The Rough Rider is also available in .17HMR.

Rough being the key word here.
