10/22 scope rings Q

Need help on ring height. Putting a scope on my old 10/22, have a weaver base on order & a scope with 42mm bell. https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/....php?t=1776635

You should have no problem fitting that scope with low rings. I use a 20MOA base, 50mm (od about 56mm) scope, and Vortex low rings with plenty of room left.
The thing to consider with your height selection is your stock comb height. I use a KRG bravo stock which has a high comb. With the low rings I feel like I'm barely able to get good alignment, even with the cheek rest in it's lowest position. If you are also using a high comb stock you might want mediums to avoid that.

Depends on how forward you have the scope.
With the factory rear sight folded down can move scope toward the rear.
Has 40mm with 1" tube.

I have SCSR-01
Have about a 2mm air gap from bottom mount/top weaver rail.
General size, not all will be exactly same ratio/height.
