Airsoft g36-10/22 conversion

Hello,

I was just wondering about doing this conversion-putting a Ruger 10/22 into an airsoft g36. Has anyone here had any experience in it? Would it be legal in California? How hard would it be to accomplish?

It is legal as people have developed conversion kits for G36's, MG 42's, AUG's, Tommy Guns, etc.

There is at least 1 thread on Calguns already discussing a 10/22 to G36 conversion in airsoft body. I also found several Youtube videos discussing the conversion.
