    Browning SA-22 semi-auto rifle

Have always wanted a Browning SA-22 and I'm even ready to plunk down about six bills for one.

Anybody else have one? Any comments?

I bought one with maple wood last month. I haven't shot it yet...

It's a sexy gun for sure..

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I've owned both Japanese and Belgium made Browning SA 22 rifles---both were excellent, premium well made firearms---my current SA 22 is a 60s Belgium made "Wheelsight" rifle---functions very well with both target speed and high-velocity 22lr ammo and is actually quite accurate...
The only operating issue is bottom ejection will often drop a RED HOT fired casing down inside a females shirt---this will NOT be well received!! Bring a closed top jacket if your wife/GF is going to shoot this rifle!
IMO, the Chinese made copies are crap---QC is all over the place...

I found a picture of John Browning himself holding an SA-22:

I own several Browning firearms but this is the only one I have that is an original John Browning design.

MSRP is around $760.00 so for 10 bucks more one can have a NIB SA-22.

Or drop $200 + more for a really cool one, I've got the BL version on order as I prefer that model.
              1. Compared to what?

Dan, you seem to be talking others into not buying your SA22 that you have for sale

It's a nice one brother, I wouldn't want to sell it either ..

It won't have wood that nice, and you'll have to tack on about $150 for tax and transfer.

I thought the wood on yours looked a lot nicer

Bottom ejection is sweet. One of my favorites. Buy it.
