Magazine question ruger 22/45

I have an older Ruger 22/45

Does this take the same magazines as any Mark 4 ruger?

It should work I have a Mark 3 utlralite 22/45 and use Mark IV mags.

Do you have the first gen 22/45? That one is the one I'm not too sure about.

MK IV 22/45 mags will work in a MK III 22/45 as is.

MK III 22/45 mags will work in a MK IV 22/45 if you trim 1/4" off of the back of the magazine base plate.

I check a pic and looks like they should work even if you have the Mark II 22/45

It is pre mag disconnect and it has the push button mag release

I recently loaned some of my Mk IV magazines to someone with a Mk II and they seemed to work.
