    SIG warranty

SIG did not issue shipping label and asked to contact dealer for sending it. Parts are not available. Lifetime warranty?

      More info please.
I read this like you are speaking to a local gun shop and they told you to call Sig Sauer because the local guy doesn't have parts to give you or the ability to send it in for you.

In my experience, if you call SIG they will tell you you don't know how to shoot their gun and hang up on you.

My, things must have really changed over the years.
I bought a new Sig P238 (California SSE) back when they first came out and it had noticeable feeding issues. Called Sig, they immediately issued me a shipping label, to and from time was around ten days, no charge to me.
            Excellent customer service!

              No, they are not.
I called to ask for an extractor for my 1911 and they asked if I need anything else before shipping it to me for free.
Springfield, on the other hand, is a nightmare.

SO, once again Ghn, what's the uncripped version of this story???

Calling you both out Ghn and jpminj for making statements against Sig Sauer customer service with no personal back up examples in your posts.

We need more details. What gun, what is wrong, who did you speak with etc.

Do *not* use a dealer to ship your gun if it is off roster or has been modified from the roster configuration. And know that even if your gun is on roster, going through a dealer will require a DROS, 10-day wait, and likely a transfer fee when it comes back. It could cost you $100-$150 just in dealer +DROS fees.

10 years ago, and it seems like just yesterday, a young man wrote and played the piano of his own song regarding his experience with Sig customer service...

It went viral so you would think Sig clean up their act.

                    Apparently not.

The ending of the song has a twists.

Maybe if you call Sig after hours and keep leaving voice messages of the song they might remember to take the hint?

694 likes in 10 years is hardly viral.

SIG does not have parts for discontinued products. Lifetime warranty does not help because SIG does not have parts for discontinued products.
