Hey fellas, happy Thursday to all..

I picked up my SA-22 Maple today at 2AZone. This gun is like holding a broom stick. What a beautiful light gun. No scope is gonna go on this one.

Now I need maple grips for my BuckMark.

That is a gorgeous rifle, wait until you shoot it, that's when the love affair really begins. I didn't have to touch the sights on mine, they were spot on the mark. It's funny, I've had mine a little over 10 years and only shot it sporadically until recently. It is now one of my favorite rifles and gets picked first when I get ready for the range.

Let us know how it goes when you take it out for the first time.

You may want to contact Altamont and see if they can make you a custom set for your Buckmark.

I like the pairing...I matched my 1990s Browning BAR 22lr semi-auto rifle with a new standard Buck Mark URX pistol. I like the newer versions of the Browning Buck Mark. I also had a 1990s Buck Mark with slab sided plastic grips at one time and like the URX grips better. Time to go have some fun plinking!

Love my 60s vintage SA 22---made in Belgium---beautiful rifle---accurate and very lightweight.
Be Aware: Female shooters will NOT like the bottom ejection when a RED HOT fired casing is dropped down inside their shirt!! Bring a closed-top jacket for the wife/GF to use, or they may never want to go shooting again...!

I had a chance to shoot the new Browning SA-22 today. Sights are right on out of the box. No issues at all. Shooting it is like holding a broom stick. This ones going back in the safe and I'll get another one for plinking.

Really nice looking in maple. A couple years back the LGS had a couple of Browing T-Bolts in maple. They were beautiful but I had my eye on other things at the time. Wish I had grabbed one of those when they were available.

One of the lever companies made a model with maple wood a couple years ago. I just didn't like it. When I saw this little gun on GB I had to have it. I don't know if it was a good seller of not because it's no longer on their website. I think it was a shot show special for 2021, that might be why it was canned.

That T-bolt would have been a nice one
