Ace conversion kit - advice on lower

To get a shiny blue lower you may have to go with an original Colt Frame..That is kinda price forbidden for me..So I just live with a cheap RIA Lower I assembled..No it does not match..But function is more important to me than match..Yes I would sure not mind a blued Colt Lower for it though..But is likely is not happening..
I did find a spare barrel though..And I modified it to shoot 17HM2..I can easily swap between 22 Long Rifle and 17 HM2 in minutes.
I have thought about blasting my Frame and blueing it..But too lazy to get around to it.. I think it is a steel frame anyway..LOL

There are a lot of good lowers out there, but you may be constrained in your ability to acquire them unless you're roster exempt.
Les Baer makes an excellent blued lower. It differs a bit from the Browning design, but you'd be happy with it.If you build a man a fire, you'll keep him warm for the evening. If you set a man on fire, you'll keep him warm for the rest of his life.Comment

Yeah, Kalistan made it illegal to buy a handgun frame unless you're exempt.
I would do like AR22 did. Buy an inexpensive RIA and swap tops when you want to shoot 22 and forget about a pristine blued frame until you move out of Kommiefornia."Show me a young conservative and I'll show you a man without a heart. Show me an old liberal and I'll show you a man without a brain." - Sir Winston Churchill
