Marlin 25N

How many here have a Marlin 25N? I have one and it's one of the most accurate .22 rf's I've shot. Just don't hear much about them. Mine is scoped with a very old Bushnell Scopechief 4X[mid 60's?], but, still very clear and crisp. This rifle just shoots! Ok, there it is.

I have a Glenfield Model 20, which is an economy version of a Marlin 25. I think the main difference between the 25 and the 25n is the magazines. And yes, my Glenfield 20 is a very good shooter.

I think bolt action 22 rimfires are one of the most overlooked types of guns out there. Many consider a 22lr rifle to be for kids. And if they are gonna have a 22lr rifle, most want an autoloader.

I have my dad’s old Glenfield 25. Haven’t cleaned it in forever, and I can still take a fly’s nuts off at 25 years a every time. Breaks clays at 100 yards off the bench with ease. It’s a great rifle, and by far my favorite 22 plinker. My Savage .17hmr is a close second. Quality rimfire bolt guns are just plain fun. The older I get, the more I appreciate them.
