    MP-5 or GSG-16 ?

There are two "sheep on wolf skin" (1) MP-5 and (2) GSG-16. Which one you guys recommend ?
I knew a lot of hardcore CGs will reply: BOTH. Yes, both but which one to buy first ?

    MP-5

I’d get the MP-5 first, because it was discontinued before and may be again at a later date.

The "MP-5" in the picture is a .22LR semi auto rifle with a fake can (suppressor).

I'd get the MP-5. Think it's better looking.

The umarex clone is vastly superior to the GSG one.

That is what I assumed. Sadly, HK doesn’t even make the .22lr. It is manufactured by Umarex.
That is why I ask CG community.
I had GSG 1911-22LR, at the first look, the pistol is liked a "tin can" but the more I shoot it the more I like it. One hell of the FUN pistol to shoot, I had no issue with GSG's pistol.
About Umarex, I do not know anything about Umarex firearm, educate me.

Umarex is the company that owns Walther (the makers of the PPK, P99, Olympic pistols and rifles). Umarex is mostly known for airsoft stuff, but they also produce a lot of licensed rimfire stuff, like a Beretta M9 (and conversion kit for a 92), H&K 416, H&K MP5, Walther PPQ, etc.

I have a few of their rimfire products and they work well.

                  This is true.

The German Sport Guns GSG-5, GSG-522, and GSG-16 are made utilizing a GSG airsoft MP5 body that is fitted with a .22LR blowback firearm.

The H&K licensed Umarex/Walther made MP5/22 was made from the ground up as a .22LR firearm that would look like a MP5 and not something that was adapted from an airsoft version.

That's not full auto and is a fake can. They are CA legal. I have a GSG and the HK model.
Out of the two, the HK model is built superior. I let the kids use THE GSG.

They both are fun. How much are they asking? The HK should be more expensive

                      - GSG-16 is around $350 + Tax, Dros, FFL fee (available now)
                      - MP-5 is around $450-$500 + Tax, Dros, FFL fee (Riflegear has it $450 but OOS)

Thanks guys, I think I wait for Riflegear has it in stock.
