    ar15 pistol/ .22 conversion question..

If i were to shoot .22LR with my ciener conversion out of my AR15 pistol, is it legal to use a regular mag release on it (or run the red button screw-on thingy on my bullet button) while it is in that configuration?

Keep in mind that while in this configuration, the buffer tube assembly will be completely removed and replaced with a spikes tactical buffer cap

ooooooh b/c the mag is outside the grip & its a pistol? hence it can't be removable even if rimfire?

my bad. i should not be giving advice when i don't know what i'm talking about.

and i even helped w/ the pistol flow chart. should have known better.

You cannot have a magazine that attaches outside the pistol grip on a hand gun in CA. That is an assault weapon. You must keep the BB
