Lookie what I just picked up!!

A very rare AKT-98 (WASR22) RPK .22lr. From what I have researched, only about 500 were imported into the country over the last 15 years. Now I need to find a real RPK bipod and modify a 40 round mag to fit the 22 insert.

Ive been looking for this version from the first day I discovered the WASR22's a few years ago. It is the holy grail of the Romanian AK .22's. There are only 2 other rifles which are rarer in the real AK trainer series. The East German MpiKM-69 and the Russian Saiga 22.

They don't run - Do a search or go to Gunboards - There's a guy I've heard of that repair these - CAI really did a crappy job converting them -

Maybe ill pass on it. I had shot one and it was a cool rifle. But it wasnt a conversion model. I just figured the .308 ammo would be easier to find and less expensive than the 7.5

Do you reload? That's the key to shooting 7.5 French - I know there are guys here that take other brass and neck them to 7.5 -

I dont reload and I wouldnt want to start just for a single rifle. Its more cost effective to pass on that rifle and go in a new direction
