    AR15 with SBR .22lr Question.

From my understanding if one were to own a SBR .22lr on an AR15 Lower, it has to have a magazine lock on it, but does the lower (AR15) need to be register as pistol?

You probably will never get approval to have a NFA registered SBR in CA! If you want an AR pistol in .22lr, that's a totally different story.
