Is there a full sized Lever 22

Last year i met a calgun member who had a really nice lever action 22lr, it was older, and still in immaculate shape and no I don't even recall the brand. I was buying another firearm from him and he was making me a good deal on the 22 lever and I was tempted because I love 22's and don't have a lever 22; but it was sooo small. It felt like a little kids rifle.

So my question; is there a full size 22 or 24 inch barrel 22 LR lever out there? Thanks,
    1. Compared to what?
    2. At what cost?
    3. What hard evidence do you have?

Henry's website shows an 18.5 inch barrel with 36 inches overall. Guess I'm looking for over 42 total.

Have not seen one but you made me look over Henry's website and they do show a 24 inch model

I'll have to keep an eye out for this.

Marlin 36A. What Annie Oakley shot in the Wild West Show.

Personally, I have the 20" carbine "Mountie" model.

Edit: 39A (as I was corrected).

Marlin 39A. Coincidentally there is one for sale right now on this board.

The Ruger 96/22 accepts all kinds of cool aftermarket barrels.

                  I have a 96/17 with a GM 22Mag barrel fitted to it.

A spacer here and there, a little work on the locking wedge and the options are amazing.

Marlin 39A fills the bill. Just a matter of finding one at a decent price. If you land one, you'll know why most shooters really like 'em.

Close; but it was its predecessor, the Model 1897 that she liked. Model 39 came out mid 1920s. The Model 39A came out decades later. The only major differences are the stronger improved bolt, the magazine tube loading latch/button; and the Micro-groove barrel that came out in the 1950s.

                          That's a good deal for that 39
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Find yourself a Ruger 96/22, and pick out your own 10/22 barrel of whatever length you want to put on it.
