    Colt AR 15 .22 version

Was looking at purchasing a Colt AR15 .22 version. It's similar to GSG 5 but AR specs. Does it need to have a bullet button/Radd Lock installed even though it's a rimfire???? Can I legally purchase this here in CA if it's going to be an out of state transfer? I believe Walther makes this under Colt rights. Any help would greatly be appreciated by all of you. Thanks ahead of time

With .22s it does not apply - The only thing is the 10 rounders -

Umarex (airsoft company) makes it for Colt.
The barrels that Umarex uses is made by Walther.
