    Yeah, too close to call.
I have an older 60 and older 10/22
Pretty much plinkers for me and my kids.
    Never shot Aguilla.

Well done. I too like Aguila in terms of bang for the buck and my local Big 5 has been selling it lately for a reasonable $4.99 a box. I ran four boxes through my S&W 22a in about 20 minutes the other day and was very pleased with its accuracy.

Haven't used a ton of the Aguila yet, but in my experience the Aguila HV 40gr has performed the same as CCI Minimag 40gr, both in terms or reliable semi auto function and accuracy. Velocity seems pretty much on par as drop is the same for both. The only difference has been price.

Other may have used more of the Aguila, but so far I have been pretty happy with mine.

I like Aguila 22lr ammo. I use the HV stuff in some semi autos and mostly use the subsonic for everything else. Good ammo IMO. Smells different but always ignites and the subsonic stuff is capable of great accuracy.

*I have had more FTFire/FTFeed with Yankee made 22lr than the Aguila. Sad.

I have a factory stock Marlin 60 that shoots almost head to head with my full custom Federson, Brimstone, Kidd $700 10-22. The 10-22 has a quieter action and far better trigger but still from a rest...

Not a fan of Agulia ammo..Never see it around here much anyway..I like CCI the best.

That aside... I have owned 10-22s in the past..None of them shot as good as my old Model 60s..The Rugers must have a attraction I do not quite get..I see people dump over a 1000.00 in a 10-22 for some reason..And it still performs equal to a model the Model 60 out of the box.. Must be something cool about 10-22s and dumping money in them that eludes this old fellas thinking

I do like the 60. One thing that I've found is that the 10/22 doesn't shoot when you leave the mags home, same for the ARs
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

That is one good thing with a permanent tube mag..Cannot forget the magazine I guess...But dot feel so bad just leaving a mag at home..I left a 50 round drum lay on top my car when I was out a while back..It is really missing now..

I like the aftermarket trigger options for the 10/22. My model 60 has a gritty, 10+ pound pull that you really have to work around.

It's good stuff. It uses the Eley type priming system. Always goes bang.

I discovered it when it was all you could find in quantity. I would rate the SV as pretty close to CCI in accuracy and equal in reliability.

However, the HV 40gr wouldn't cycle my SIG Mosquito. CCI mini mags are 100% in it.

                          How do you pronounce Aguila?
                          I say it as Ah-gee-ah

My 1978 Ruger 10/22 and my 1998 Browning Buckmark like Aguila lead and copper coated better than CCI standard velocity and subsonic lead and copper coated, both in terms of accuracy and fewer light primer strikes. Aguila's brass used to have the Eley headstamp, which may account for its consistency. Doesn't hurt that Aguila is also less expensive.

I've shot LOTS of various Aguila ammo over the years including much of their 22 LR product---I've found it to be consistent, accurate and functioned my various 22s just fine...
                              I've always said: "Ag-you-la"
