This price is ridiculous. Everyone needs to be stocked up and stop buying so prices go back down.

LAX Ammo was $99.99 for 500 over the weekend...

now that CA has the new law

now that arms list charges $5 to place an ad

        will flipping stop in CA?
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

I agree 100%. When I go out and shoot, I re supply and I look for the lowest price. Right now this was the lowest in my area. With LAX Ammo 4 miles away and their brand (repackaged Aguila) is DOUBLE this price its not that bad.

All I shoot now is the 22's because my supply of "more important" ammo is too expensive to "piss away" Just because covid prices are what they are, I still shoot once a month, now its plinking with 22lr, 22 long, 22 short and 22wmr. We shoot about 1000 rounds per trip.

I only have like 1500 .22lr for my guns it's enough for a while for me but yeah I don't want to shoot some ammo. Production needs to step up and flood the markets

Explain how you can stock up if you stop buying.

Those who didn't stock up when the prices were lower are seeing the results of waiting.

And then there are idiots, like me, who didn't give a second thought about ammo availability when I decided to pop for my CZ75 22lr conversion kit last October.

I get it. I have several 22lr long guns and hand guns. I try to keep 10k rounds of inventory. When we go out and plink for a day it is not uncommon to shoot 1500 to 2000 rounds. So then I am forced to look for the "lesser expensive COVID priced ammo" to keep the inventory up.

My favorites are the Savage 64 and the Marlin 915y for the long guns or the Ruger LCR or the Sig 1911-22. I dunno the GSG-16 with 22 round mags is pretty fun too shooting rapid on the irons
