    1957 Romanian Cugir

Since I started shooting in a "mini Palma" match, I've been going through the safe getting my old .22's out. I bought this 1957 Cugir years ago and somehow never shot it. I intend to remedy that.

    Fake news!

I thought this was a thread by bigpimping.
"Show me a young conservative and I'll show you a man without a heart. Show me an old liberal and I'll show you a man without a brain." - Sir Winston Churchill

"I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue!" - Senator Barry Goldwater

      Lol.

I'm afraid any woman born in 1957 is well past "cougar" status...

            Relics, LMAO.
That "relic" will likely out shoot most of the rifles made today.
I have rimfire rifles from the 1940's, 50's and early 60's that shoot just fine, thank you.
I even have some "antiques" from the 1980's, an H&R 12 and Kimbers 82G and Yonkers SVT, and a Mossberg 144 LSB that can hold their own too.

Wrong choice of word, I meant it as a compliment.
You are right they are not "Relics" they are "Antiques"
I also agree with you on how some of them will out shoot modern 22Lr rifles,
My best Shooter is a Kimber NY Super America 22lr that is Modern but no longer made, unless they re started production again.
My best shooting antiques are the Walther Model 1, Winchester 75 Target, and a Remington 541.
The only Unique (to me) rifles are my Walther model 1 and my HK270, and both are great shooters , even in my hands.

Got it. No harm, no foul.
I like "Vintage", it has a touch of class to it.
In my house, I am considered the Relic, according to my wife and adult children.

LOL Than Vintage sounds more like you, I'm a great-grandpa so that would make me a genuine Relic LOL.
