    .22 bolt action tube fed question

    If I were to buy a .22 rifle that is bolt action and fed by a tube magazine that holds 25 rounds, would that be illegal? Or is that good to go?

    legal, tube fed is an exception to the "hi-cap" rules.

        not c/f semi autos. i think pump and lever are ok. dogpile on me if i'm wrong.

          pump centerfire is not ok with a tube mag that holds more that 10 i tried to get a Taurus thunder bolt pump in 357 but could not cause of the 14 shot tube.but like they said rim fire is all good with tubes i just got an old marlin with an 18shot tube

            correct..you're good to go <10 rds with a tube fed .22.

              .22 caliber tube fed lever-action
              .22 caliber tube fed pump-action
              .22 caliber tube fed semi-auto

              any caliber tube fed lever-action




              Penal Code 12020
              (c)(25) As used in this section, "large-capacity magazine" means any ammunition feeding device with the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds, but shall not be construed to include any of the following:
              (A) A feeding device that has been permanently altered so that it cannot accommodate more than 10 rounds.
              (B) A .22 caliber tube ammunition feeding device.
              (C) A tubular magazine that is contained in a lever-action firearm.
