    Getting some rimfire love

Ok so after getting tired of the cost and all the BS with my AR I started getting into rimfire rifles and pistols. Ironiclly enough .22 ammo is starting to get hard to find ( for a decent price-my idea of a decent price anyways) But never the less I have picked up a couple .22LR and had some questions.

First off I finally picked up m NIB Ruger 10/22,(from River City Gun Echange) i tossed a Tasco 4x32 scope on it and I plan on leaving it just like that. Maybe adding a bipod later on, but thats about it:

I also picked up a J.C. Higgens Ranger .22LR Revolver(used). ( also purchased at River City Gun Exchange) I picked it up since the price was right and I figured it would be cool little pistol for the wife to shoot and maybe give to my kid someday ( when I have one). The only problem is I can't really find too much info on these guns. I am not really looking to do any upgrades for it, just looking to see if there is any reliablity problems.

And last week I did a PPT for a Phoneix .22LR semi Auto pistol. Once again the price was unbeatable. The only problem is I can't find any info on buying extra mags for it, that are in stock. And I noticed that the slide was a little on the loose side, but from what I understand, thats pretty much how all including new ones are.

So I figured i would post up and see if anyone else has either of these two pistols and any info on them or experiances with them would be appreciated. Thanks

looks nice bro! I just picked up my marlin 795. I'll probably go shoot the crap outta it tomorrow since I read some reviews about it having a stiff trigger and will soften up after it gets broken in a bit

Im on Dros for 1022 Stainless syn. Have a bolt JC Higgins .22 also. 7k rounds of .22 should be good for a few days.

That's a very nice collection, but no Colt Woodsman in the picture?

I'm even with you on rifles, but you're a couple ahead on pistols. You can't have too many .22's!

Is that a .22 WMR AMT in the pic? I can't tell. I've always wanted one! How does it shoot?

Thanks for the compliment! I have 2 AMT rimfires; the rifle is an AMT Hunter in 22LR(second down from top) and the pistol pictured is the AMT Automag II in 22 WMR. It's WAY cool to shoot; HUGE ball of fire from the muzzle and NO recoil.

I'm jealous! The AMT has always been on my wishlist. Ah, but I have a birthday coming up...maybe the family will come through!

Very nice. I would like to pick up a bipod for my 10/22 as well to keep from shaking while in the prone.
