I have a Ruger precision rimfire. I enjoy the rifle very much. Very accurate. A plus that it takes 1022 mags. Another option to look at.

If you already have 10/22s and mags I’d go with the Ruger Precision. Being able to swap mags between all your different 22 rifles is a big plus.

Everything is out of stock so ordered an ER Shaw target barrel. Will put on my 10/22. I have two but one is more set up for target shooting.

Not a one. Great adjustability. Being able to adjust the bolt throw for training purposes is awesome. Enjoy shooting my RPR more than my 1022s. I can get 1.5 inch groups all day with the RPR using CCI standar velocity. Haven't ran match ammo through it yet. My next 22 will be a CZ 457 Varmit. But even when I get that rifle, I will not be getting rid of the Ruger because I like it that much.

Get one. Take the time to set the ergos up for yourself and it will fit like a glove. It's rimfire so as usual, find what it likes to shoot and then shoot that.

The only thing I wish Ruger would have done is give it the folding stock like they did on the centerfire models, just for being able to put it into shorter range bags/cases. Its an OAL issue but nothing a bit of extra length on the barrel wouldn't fix.

The other nice thing is that you can adjust the both throw to mimic the centerfire versions so the operation is very similar.

Don't worry, it will never pass...How in the hell did that pass?

Think past your gun, it's the last resort, the first is your brain.

Thanks guys! I’ll pick up the Ruger when they are in stock.

Anxious to see how the new barrel works for the 10/22. I have the bx trigger on there so it’s better than the stock one.

I'm wanting a Ruger 96, besides being boss, for the mag usage too. PAX

If you don't need new, A Mossberg M44 or Winchester T75 are tack drivers. US marked one are even cooler. PAX

I have the mark II btvss , the one with thumbhole boyd's stock. My other 22 now spends most time on the bench, accurate, reliable, I choose this over the 10/22 bolt and could not be happier with it.
