I think I might need an AK in .22

So I need an AK in .22 (among a great deal of other things).

    Tell me about them.

So far, what I'm looking at for my options are:

-WASR-22 (If I can find one)

    -Armscor AK-22 (Uber cheap)

-Saiga-22 (if they ever become available)

.22 Battlepacks are for WASR 22's not GSG's ! My WASR 22 is my favorite Rimfire Rifle (And I have a 10/22 International Carbine with optics)

Never was a huge fan of the GSG.

I thought .22 battle packs were for the ar-7?

So far my favorite rimfire rifle is still my bone stock 10/22 that I've taken countless rabbits with.

          Yea. It looks great.

I'm building a pistol from a aks-74u kit, so I'm thinking about using the leftover folder to put on the .22. I'd just have to cut the rear of the receiver for it and add the latch in the front.

My list gets longer the more guns I buy.

I'll probably be thinning the collection a little bit here shortly to drum up some funds.

Can't say much about the WASR-22. I have an ARMSCOR AK-22. It IS uber-cheap, but it's quite an accurate rifle.

The problem with the Armscorp is that it is its own design and you cant use any other parts on it. I like the WASR just for the sheer fact of the ability to use other real AK parts. Hell, I put PSL parts on one. Who'd thunk it?

Still looking for a WASR22 and still willing to trade a ROMY parts kit with some ammo thrown in

Good luck on that trade, it may take 2 parts kits pretty soon
