Ok , I went back and looked at last months match . It looks to me like I won with a pistol !
I think its a sad day when a pistol wins this match and How many rifle shooters do we have ?

i'm still deciding if i'm going to buy a scope for it. i think it will look funny with a scope larger than the pistol itself.

I'm not a real pistol guy, but the picture makes it look the equivelant to a corvette racing a pinto on a straight away and claiming to be a better driver because you won. did the rifle shooters also have rests that prevent the gun from moving very much? If the rifle shooters had the same rest or equivelant then kudos, but you need more info for the brownie button.

What more info do you want ? this is a factory contender action and barrel that I bought used then added aftermarket grip and forend and a bushnell scopecheif rifle scope set to 20x , the front rest is a hart with hoen top I also bought used and I used eley pistol king and no wind flags and the distance was 50 meters .
There are no rules on what equipment you can use and I do have rifles that will out shoot this pistol .
There are some kick *** rifles on this site , the participation in this match just is to low and I know that !

lol, jlem. have you ever SEEN what is possible with a pinto??? i've watched pintos blow the doors off vets in th 1/4 mile. and 22popnsplat, tis true... there were no limitations on what equipment can be used. but i'm going to rely on just me and testfiring my new pistol at 15yds w/iron sights. my stock 10/22 has a scope and i may try that next month, or maybe this month at project 2k. we'll see. i'll post my targets.
