outlines. I'll explain.
I grip modded my Ruger 22/45, but I screwed up and got a grip for the MKII/III instead of a 1911 (I wasn't thinking straight) and it doesn't really feel right. I would like to correct my error and put on a proper Hogue 1911 wraparound grip; however, I've been told that the Hogue 1911 may not line up perfectly with other 1911 grips because its wrapping around may make its alignment with the gun not quite perfect. I'd like to do it right this time and make sure that I could actually change grips should I choose to do so in the future; however, I don't want to buy non-wraparound grips just so I know where to drill the holes. So, I'd like to see if anyone out there would be willing to trace the outlines of their 1911 grip as well as the screw holes so that I won't have to pay $X just to figure out where to drill.
For this, I will gladly mail you a piece of paper and a SASE with endless appreciation.
I would have put this in the WTB areas, but I don't think this qualifies to go in there
