Spotted 22lr ammo twice in Redlands today

First I went into walmart this morning about 8:00am and there was about 10 boxes of federal 550 packs. So of course I bought two. Then I was in kmart down the street about 10:00am and they had both remington bulk packs and winchester dynapoints. The dynapoints were $30 a box of 500 but they are about the most accurate of the cheaper bulk ammo. I have shot groups that were under a half an inch with that ammo. Maybe things are starting to look up a little on the ammo situation. Mark

Under a half inch at 50 yards with my bull barrel 10/22. Here's the ammo, read the reviews: http://www.midwayusa.com/Eproductpag...eitemid=866708

It's inevitable, not to mention the amount of private party stuff for sale at inflated prices. Sooner than later thinks will be back to normal, although a bit more expensive than before but thats understandable. I just liked the days, last year, when you could stop by walmart on the way to the range and pick up a few extra packs.

The Walmart in San Bernardino just stocked 2 cases of Federal #750 550 bulk packs at 1pm. I just picked up 2 boxes and there still about 8+ packs even after another guy picked up 2 as well.

Also the Winchester Dynapoint bulk packs are always available in south San Bernardino from Jerry Berman & Sons, plus Super X too. Too bad they're only open thursday-saturday.

Can I just say that I love the title of this thread? It's like .22lr is a mythical creature or something. LOOK MA! A UNICORN!!!

Dynapoints - $35, I believe, I purchased handgun ammo too, but I think thats what I was quoted.

And bulk federal #750 is 13.79
