NODAK NDS-22

I was taking some other pictures today so i thought i would take a few of the NODAK NDS-22 receiver i got a few weeks ago. It really is a very beautiful receiver.

I will probably build a .22LR unless someone can talk me into doing a 22mag or 17HMR. I do have 2 10/22s already but they are for my wife and son. Not to mention the cost of doing it in 22LR will run around a thousand bucks not including a scope or the cost of the receiver, Im not sure how much more doing a 22mag or 17HMR would be or if it would be worth the cost of parts and ammo.

I dont think you can run 22mag or 17hmr out of the standard 10/22 receiver. The magnum receivers are longer if i recall. I wanted to convert my magnum research to 17hmr and ran into this problem. Looks nice though. where did you get it and what do those things run now that they've been out for a bit?
