I have 2 Wranglers, a silver one that was purchased used & a bronze one that was purchased new. I have only shot the silver one but have notice a difference in the trigger reset between the 2 revolvers when dryfiring. Cocking the hammer on either revolver is the same, there are 2 clicks. After pulling the trigger, the silver one has 2 clicks in the trigger reset & the trigger has almost no takeup after reset. The bronze one only has 1 click & the trigger has some slack. Anybody know what causes this? Think it will wear in after a couple hundred rounds & be like the silver one? I'm not really concerned about it since it's single action but was just curious about the difference.

2 Wranglers, triggers reset differently

Why not call Ruger and ask them.
If anybody would know, it would be them.
Good Luck. -

Kidding.
A family member and I used to get the same guns a lot when we started shooting, so we have plenty of dupes in the family maybe even bought in the same serial number range... and Rugers always have different triggers IMHO. For example, my MKII Gov Target MK678G always had a crappy trigger pull compared to the other one. It took Volquartsen parts to make mine significantly better than the other one came stock. P95's also different. 10/22's also different. They are cheap guns.Comment

IIRC, even though Ruger says you can dry fire a Wrangler, some people are finding out you can't without damaging the revolver."Show me a young conservative and I'll show you a man without a heart. Show me an old liberal and I'll show you a man without a brain." - Sir Winston Churchill
