    Galil .22lr

Ok so I was thinking I needed a .22 and then I remembered december 25 1989.....My dad got me a .22 for xmas....a Galil. I guess I had just forgotten about it.

So I go to my dads house look in the safe and there it is.....a further search produces 2 magizines!!!

I take it to the range and while I only shot ay 25yds one small adjustment to the sight and it shot like a champ, one ragged hole of about 100 rounds!!!

WOW look at that! Never seen one before and yours looks brand new.

Not that you would ever sell that but I'd bet those bring good money today.

LOL...not for sale.....jager arms in italy is the manfacturer imported by mitchell arms....I remember my dad saying it cost almost 400.00... I think in the late 80's...I could be wrong, yeah I shot this as a kid a few times and then forgot about it, it is almost perfect...

Whats the rule on .22's with highcaps, and threaded barrels?

Slightly better than an Armscor (but it's rariety makes up for that)

Since your dad bought them in the 80's they are fine.

                Beautiful gun by the way!

And for a Jager, it actually looks authentic as compared to the other models produced by say Armscorp. Its a model AP-84. Look at that AP-74 Commando. Thats cool looking!

All firearms (even rimfire) with threaded barrels are by definition assault weapons in California. I know this because my Walther P22 had to be retro-fitted at the factory to remedy it's threaded barrel condition.
