    Browning 1911-22 Issue

Guys, I just finished upgrading my basic Browning 1911-22 with Black Label parts including sights, trigger, Ambo thumb safety, grip safety, slide release and flat grip housing.

However, the hammer will not stay cocked nor does the trigger release the hammer when I hold the hammer back. I have taken the main spring out several times and reinstalled it with no success...I must be installing it wrong.

Is there anyone in the SF valley familiar with these guns that can take a look at it for me or know of a local gunsmith??

    Much thanks

Surprised there isn't a detailed video. Good luck.

You may have installed the disconnector incorrectly, dunno. I've had my 1911-22 apart, and save for the blowback barrel arrangement, it is miniature 1911 in every other respect.

Do tell us where I might obtain some Black Label parts. I want the combat sights!

And if you're willing to drive over the hill and down to the LAX area, I'll have a look it for you, no charge.

If you're willing to pay, then, contact ar15barrels.com using your email as communication. He's in Van Nuys.

          Very nice.

When I purchased my CA G.I. spec, Commander-proportion Browning 1911-22, Browning would not sell any Black Label parts. Good to see this policy has changed.

Interested to know more about your pistol!

I would look at mine but I had to send it back to Browning for the second time because its falling apart when I shoot it.
