Which Bullet type/grain for Marlin 795?

I'm going to buy a Marlin 795 tomorrow (my first rifle!), and since I'm required to wait 10 days to receive it, I'll be shopping around for a while for my ammo. So far I'm looking at:

    Aguila's 40grain 1080fps:
Cheaper Than Dirt! is America's Ultimate Shooting Sports Discounter, and we live up to that title. Expect bulk ammo deals, discounts, gun care accessories and more

    and their 60grain 950fps:
Cheaper Than Dirt! is America's Ultimate Shooting Sports Discounter, and we live up to that title. Expect bulk ammo deals, discounts, gun care accessories and more

All I know about the differences so far is the 60 grain bullet carries about 17% more energy than the lighter round. What are the advantages/disadvantages of using a heavier round?

Thanks in advance for your input!

    Edit:
I'm leaning towards CCI's Blazer now...

I not sure either of those ammo will properly / reliable cycle a 795. Anything labelled "Sub-sonic" will almost certainly won't have enough energy to cycle the action.

I have found the most reliable bulk (cheap) ammo for my 795 is the Remington Golden Bullet High velocity (1280ft/sec) bulk packs $16 from Walmart. It's a little dirty than other brands, but my 795 can shoot that stuff all day without a hiccup. Federal Valu-Pack bulk is good too.

      Ammo for the 795

The manual for the 795 recommends "high velocity" .22 rounds. It says to avoid "hyper velocity" or rounds that are less then high velocity.

Unlike bigthaiboy, I found that Remington Golden Bullets would fail to fire occassionally in my 795. I don't know if it's because I got a bad batch or what. The firing pin would hit the rim, but there would be no bang on about 4 of the 100 rounds I gave it last time.

Awesome, thanks for the input! I got a box of the CCI to try out once i get it. If it's not good, I'll just give it to my friend who owns an old .22 bolt action.

Once big 5 gets a new batch of ammo, I'll try the Remington.

So far, every brand of .22 has worked well in my new 795. The sub-sonic Agulia (sp) would not triger the last shot bolt hold open feature, but still fired and ejected properly.

Mind worked fine with the Federal Bulk automatch 40 grain (325 bullets), Federal bulk 550 36 grain and the Winchester Xpert HV 36 grain. I'm going to try it with CCI HV mini-mags this weekend, but I'm not expecting any issues at all.

However and on all 3 types of bullet, I think I suffer more events where the bolt hold open feature would not get triggered and unless I count, I end up with a dry fire on the last shot. Still haven't figured out that one.
