Mossberg 46M

I love the old Mossberg rimfire rifles. I just bought a 46M through Little John's Auctions. I need to go start the DROS on it this week.

I also have my Dad's old Mossberg 146B - similar action but a 26 inch barrel tube fed bolt action - a man-sized rimfire.

Mine was/is the first gun I ever had. It was my father's when he was about 15 and I made it mine at about the same age. I added the scope. I threw the rifle over my shoulder and hopped on my bicycle for a ride to a gunsmith. Can't do that nowadays.

This is not my Dad's, but the same model with the picture from the web. It was his first gun and he took parts of it to school to fabricate more ergonomic variations, like the magazine tube knob and for a trigger job. He took it on the bus to go hunting in the LA river bed.

It is a tackdriver. He used to shoot lizards in the head with the peep sight just to show off while we were out rabbit hunting.

Here's my 46m, I love it .
I wish I could find a sling for it.its sold out everywhere I've checked
