I can't imagine why they wouldn't be "leger" in CA

I do not have one, but I do have some that hold just two mags together.
I have found that the bottom of the Ruger mags vary slightly in size and shape. You may have to radius the edges of the Ruger mag around the area where the insert part goes in and use epoxy to make sure they stay on the
connector.
Use " Devcon High Strength Plastic Welder" instead of epoxy, this stuff bonds really strong!

Yes, these magazine connectors are legal in CA.

I have a quad 10/22 magazine connector I bought at Hunter's Supply in Salinas. They are legal. You do have to glue (permanently affix with some kind of sealant) the magazines to the connector. 40 rounds, 4 magazines and a connector weighs a bit and makes my 10/22 feel a bit unwieldy. FWIW, I have put an extended mag release on mine and it feels a bit more comfortable using and swapping individual magazines that way.

i have the trimag clamp and its GREAT!!!!! go for it, you wont be disappointed
just clamp the mags together, no need for epoxy or glues.

Yeah there legal, its still only a 10 rd mag, I remember turners selling them or someone like that,

Butler Creek sells a "Star-Pack" of 3 banana shaped 10 round hot lips magazine connected together in CA... If they were illegal, many dealers at gun shows would have been busted already for selling them.
