Just picked one up,

Would this be consider a curio or relic that could be sold as a cash and carry

Been cleaning it up, no rust, just very dirty, bore seems excellent,
Wood is in fantastic shape,

Going to take it out this coming week,

Any comments on the accuracy of the weapon and what ammo works for you

I am starting with cci s.v. And some federal auto match.

And just in case I do not like it, what are they worth in very good condition
No peep sights, two magazines,

The gun was last produced in 1963, ergo it's C&R.

Your timing is very good. My father just gave me his 69A that he bought new when he was MUCH younger. That rifle is a tack-driver and he taught me to shoot with that rifle.
After some recent squirrel pest removal - he was having some troubles with it and could not get the bolt back in the rifle...
A shout-out of praise to Harry at US Firearms Co in Sunnyvale - he fixed it right up and all is good now!
(And, my father gave me the rifle!)

Back in the day when I was shooting that rifle more, it worked well with anything we used and it was almost boring shooting that rifle.
Put the sights on the bullseye and that's where the shots went - every single time.

You should like that rifle - they were well made and quite accurate.
(Let me know if you don't - I may want to add a second to my collection...)

It is a C&R but cash and carry does NOT exist in Commiefornia.

The 69 is one of the few rimfire rifles that has a threaded receiver.

Very nice rifle...enjoy.
