I've been a lurker and new here. Just wondering if anyone has any long term follow up on the lighter recoil spring modification for the Bersa in 22lr? Is that really a safe thing to do? I got it on the cheap as a training tool for my girlfriend to transition from shooting revolvers. It's a training tool all right. Feed it cheap ammo and you'll be an expert in clearing malfunctions in no time.
