    Sticky Ruger 10-22 banana mag

I bought two Ruger branded 25-rounders during Freedom Week and one works perfectly while the other doesn't seem to feed rounds into top slot reliably. Any suggestions? Lubrication perhaps?

How tight does the functioning mag fit into the magwell vs the non-functioning mag?

I took mine apart before I used them and lubed them with CLP. No problems

^this for sure, or just load 20 rounds and see how it feeds...

Excellent choice as long as you aren't rifle over the shoulder cross country schlepping (hurt pain) but do also do buy a couple of Ruger ten round dust covers.

Now you have me concerned...I haven’t even used any of my Freedom Week BX-25 mags. I still need to buy a 10/22.

I took mine apart, did the empty .22 cartridge fix, polished the feed ramps, and Lemon Pledged the insides.
Pledge contains both wax and silicone, not so great on furniture but seems to slick up the mags pretty good.
Learned about using it as a lube from the company that installed my vinyl windows many years ago.

I've used pledge for a lot of different situations but never tried them on mags. For other uses I've found that after a while the pledge dries and gets draggy but reapplication gets it going again.

BX25s don't have a great reputation. See https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/ for all tips and tricks rimfire.

                      It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.
