    Some rimfires at NRA show

I'm at the NRA meetings and was playing with the 552 for a while. I was really excited to see this rifle in person but was pretty disappointed after playing with it. Real flimsy, the stock is total junk, hard to open, rattles, shorter then the 556. The quality of the rifle just didn't seem that great but could be a pre-production so who knows, maybe will be better when it ships.

The Colt AR 22 on the other hand was real solid and had a very nice looking bolt, way nicer then the ceiner type units. Looks like the upper will work with any lower out there, at least from a close inspection of the rifle, but I may be wrong.

The GSG .22 AK was pretty cool, nice furniture and bolt.

    Thanks for posting the photos

RE the GSG-AK, is the furniture wood or plastic? I can't tell from the pic. Any idea on the price point of the GSG or Colt .22s?

    Appreciate the info.

Wood on the AK, but I will double check tommorow. Price point for the Colt was in the $500's I will check tomorrow.

If you guys want info, and pictures I can snap Hi-res ones and report on anything at the show. Just post your requests.

I saw the new tactical solutions .22 with the internal suppressor. Looks nice and something that is not known, they can make you a bull barrel version of their .22 upper that is real accurate if you call them, plus they are coming up with a new configuration that is missing the forward assist and casing deflector.

I kept playing with it, and its was way more solid then I initially thought. Guess It was late in the day yesterday when i first played with it. Plus its just awesome looking and what really got me was the bolt locks, which the AR conversions don't do.

I got to have a closer look at the bolt, which I think is the key to a good .22 besides great accuracy of course. Anyway a quality bolt that I don't need to adjust and that locks, which the AR conversions don't do is what I want, and the Sig should deliver.

Plus the sig is just cool.

The red dot sig makes isnt too bad actually, total knock off of the Aimpoint, just not as bright and less battery life, not bad for a .22 rifle i would say.

This "tactical .22 revolution" is pretty cool--can enjoy having fun w/ some nice toys on the cheap.

It's going to be fun when all these new models hit the shelves and the boards here on CGN.

Thanks again for all the detailed pics OP
