I hear the Glock's weapons are very good quality. I personally did not try them in practice, since my interest in weapons is purely theoretical.

Is there a reason to consider a conversion kit for people in other states where the cost of the conversion kit isn't too far off the cost of a new 44? Not the case in CA of course with supply via PPT only/premium prices.

In another state I'd probably get something else for a complete gun.

That's what I was thinking too, different equation with so many more choices for a 22 pistol.

A lot of people have enough stand alones anyway. I have probably eight or ten rimfire guns... I wanted a .22 glock slide to use on my actual frames.
