Taurus 942

I saw that Taurus is putting out a little .22lr snubby called the 942. Anyone on here know anything about Taurus trying to get it on the roster? It's a revolver, so not an impossibility. Man, I would buy that in a heartbeat, kind of a "shut up and take my money" sort of thing.

I spoke with Taurus several months ago ref the 942 in 22LR & 22mag. The lady said she didn't have an answer ref if either model had been submitted to CADOJ for approval.

Id say they would, the old 941 was on roster for a while, if I remember correctly. Of course I’d love to see one in their “Defender” format (3” bbl bead front) in .22 WMR.

I ended up grabbing a lcrx 22 mag at my lgs. Pick it up in 9 days. If they get the 942 in 22 lr on roster, knowing myself, I'll probably make a stupid decision and buy one.
