AR .22 length question

Is is possible to achieve overall 26" length on AR .22, while keeping barrel length legal (16")? If yes, how?

Yes, on the dedicated spike's uppers the 16in barrel goes into the receiver about 1.5 inches. This makes it a 14.5in and with the A2 birdcage it becomes at 16" barrel. OAL o my spikes dedicated upper is almost 32inches with a magpul CTR stock and rubber buttpad(milspec)
