    Saiga Rimfire AKM

    any news on the Saiga .22 Lr AKM that was shown around the Forum boards some weeks ago and if it will be Imported in significant numbers ?

    I would be interested in this to. Hopefully it will come with a pistol grip as it is a .22 and should get around any AWBs. Or does the importation of AWs count .22s as well?

          Federal 922r does not apply to rimfire rifles.

                  WASR 22 's are based on Cur "Leftover" recievers and get away with the Y axis just fine...

                        Do you mean the "Y" on the backside where the happy hole gets drilled? I think its ok as long as it has never been drilled. Yes, The SAR-2 has the "Y". If the hole is already drilled then even a welded up hole is still considered a machine gun.
