    Marlin Mod 60 150th anniversary

Has anyone handled or shot one? Does any one know the cost and where one could be purchased in So. Cal.? There is an ad in the NRA Rifleman mag. It looks beautiful but doesn't give much info. I have owned at least one for the past fifty years and would like to have this one also. Thanks

I bought my first gun back in 1981. My father had to buy it for me. Walked in, I paid $54 and walked out with a Marlin-Glennfield Model 60 squirrel stock with cheap scope. It is still sitting in my safe today.

I'd be interested in a 150 year anniversary model myself.

You just had to post that didn't you?

Now I have to buy yet another gun. Thanks.

The 150 year anniversary is for John Marlin starting his company in 1870 . The model 60 was introduced in 1960. However the model 39 goes back to 1897. My Marlins have the North Haven CN stamp on the barrels I wonder if these new Remington produced ones are stamped KY or NY ?

Other than a stock upgrade, what am I missing for an extra $200?
