    QD bipod on marlin 795

Added steel sling swivel and sling swivel stud to picatinny bipod mount adapter to molded 795 stock. Had to dremel bottom of adaptor picatinny plate to go over molded sling swivel mount.

I’ve had a bipod on our 795 for a lot of years my kids loved it growing up, along with a inexpensive Simmons 3x9 optic. Great inexpensive shooter, kids shot the hell out of it and still do.

Nice. I have the same scope as yours... was gonna get bipod like yours, instead got this one that required a few extra steps to install.

          Thanks for sharing OP.

It possible to ask about your parts list? What length stud, etc? Any issues to consider on drilling through the stock?

I had been thinking about doing something similar but had not got around to it. The front plastic molded stud on my stock actually broke through and a new metal sling swivel stud would be great for sling or bi-pod.

Actually, anything other than he original molded front stock sling attachment for the 795 would be great

All parts ordered on ebay, 4.75-9 foldable qd pic rail mount v8 bipod, 3 piece rifle sling swivel studs, sling swivel to pic rail bipod adapter. Before drilling hole for swivel stud, grind out small 1/2" section of the thin webbing inside stock running down middle to keep drillbit from shifting. The threaded sling stud with nut sits below barrel but double check yours. I had to dremel bipod base a little where round nut meets it, see first picture.
