Burro Cyn Shooting Park has one. It's shared with handgun shooters also. Big boomers are on another range there. [626] 910-1344.

Angeles has a .22 only section with metal targets to hit, but it is next to the handgun lines.

I might suggest that you get and each wear electronic ear-muffs so you can talk to each other but not hear the blasting from other shooters. I have two pairs for when I take a new shooter so we can talk comfortably and hear any range commands.

Rainbow has two rimfire ranges. One is a plinking range with many steel plate targets; the other is a conventional 50 yard range.

I’m teaching my sons to shoot, and it’s difficult to explain things when someone is blasting away with an AR a few feet away.

I’m in the eastern LA county/IE area. Any help is appreciated!
WEGC has a rimfire only range in the members area.
Most ranges allow rimfire rifles to be used in the pistol-only areas which tend to be quieter than the rifle areas.

The left side of Pala is set up for rimfire. You still may get stuck next to a guy with a .450.

Apple Valley Gun club has an indoor .22 only building. Available 24/7 for members. Or a guest if you can find a member to go with.

They also have 5 handgun ranges, 2 trap and a 600yd rifle range. Oh, they archery range is also open 24/7.

Immediately North of the 60 fwy, and west of Rosemead. Right across the fwy from Triple B. Hidden in the middle of a park.

22 Rimfire only. Standard velocity or Target ammo only NO HV AMMO. Even 22 shorts.

Haven't been their for yrs. So call for particulars. Mostly old farts with a penchant for very accurate rimfire rifles.

Might be just what you are looking for.

Is that place still open? I grew up about 3 miles west of there. My dad used to take me when I was a kid in the early 70s.

They say the guy that killed Bobby Kennedy used to practice there.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I cannot say definitively, haven't been there in at least 4 yrs. That's why I suggested OP call.
