Ruger 10/22 Takedown Swapping Barrel Assemblies Back and Forth

I recently purchased an aftermarket barrel for my SS Ruger 10/22 TD, and I wanted to create a second complete barrel assembly so I could easily swap back and forth between the two. I found that the parts were actually not that easy to come by / find, and that Ruger Customer Service really wasn't all that helpful unless you had the part names or numbers to provide them.

In total you'll need eight parts to attach to the new barrel not including the forend. As of this writing, the cost for all of the parts was about $40.00 shipped.

Anyway, just in case someone else was trying to do the same thing or something similar, I wanted to share what I learned.

    Parts List

    (1x) Locking Plunger (P/N: KB00085)
    (1x) Locking Plunger Detent (P/N: KB00083)
    (1x) Spring, Locking Plunger, (RCFV) (P/N: B00086)
    (2x) Screw, Mounting, 8-36x1/4 CAP Screw (P/N: B00091)
    (1x) Locking Lever, (RCFV) (P/N: KB00081)
(1x) Block (P/N: B00084) *For the block, I decided to go with the Magpul X-22 Backpacker Optics Mount (MAG799-BLK) instead.
    (1x) Screw, Takedown, (RCFV) (P/N: B-65 or B00024)
