Ammo for Nylon 66 Rifles

Just picked up a Nylon 66 Rem 22lr two weeks ago, put a Simmons 32mm scope on it and am wondering if anyone has successful results with 22rf target loads in these rifles. In the last one I had CCI Mini Mags and Win Super X was perfect in it. Any comments ? Thanks

Mine loves CCI. All my rimfires do. Mine will run CCI standard velocities as well as the Mini Mags. CCI costs a little more. But has always been worth the extra to me..

I don’t shoot mine a lot but I usually shoot Federal bulk and it has never been picky about ammo.

I use only standard velocity in the older 22 rifles. I've had good success with Amscor and CCI standard velocity.

Mine eats everything EXCEPT anything with a flat nose bullet like some HP's.
Usually the flat hangs up on the face of the breech. Otherwise feeds all.

I’m so happy to see somebody out there in the world owns one besides me. I got mine when I was 9 years old. I’ve have shot every brand and type of 22 LR through it that you can imagine. They all work and they all cycle well. I’ve shot thousands of rounds through it and it is still an tac driver. My 15 year old enjoys it now.

i have an unfired nylon and i am saving it for my granddaughter who is a teenager and could not tip the scales at 80 pounds. The original beanpole but i love her dearly. Nice light rifle and a friends nylon has never found a 22 round it did not like. i think they were one of the best rifles put out. Have one that looms like a M1 carbine with a ten round clip and except for not being able to find more clips for it it eats anything that says 22 on it and spits them right down the range. don't give up your nylon. too dependable
