AR to .22 Bolt conversion help

I am looking to buy a .22LR conversion kit for my AR. Which brand is the best and which ones take the BDM mags? I am looking at the CMMG as well as Ceiner kits. Are there any others to be aware of? Also wheres the best place to find these in stock? Thanks alot for your help

Any of the kits based off of the Ceiner design will work with the BDM mags. Ceiner, Spikes, CMMG, etc

I was told to stay away from Ciener. It's a hit or miss. I bought a CMMG 22lr kit instead.

Go with CMMG or Spike's but not Ciener/Atchisson. Spike's will give you the best customer support of them all, but their firing pins are not compatible with the rest, which means that you cannot buy the BDM upgraded/hardened pin.

            Go with the CMMG.

              Spikes is great

I have a Spikes and love it. It shoots cleaner than the other types of kits (certainly much cleaner than the Ciener kit).

I bought a used Ceiner kit 13-14 years ago from a friend. It needed a new extractor (fixed) and feeds all standard and high velocity ammo. It does not like subsonics. Just keep it lubed and don't dry fire it. Highly recommended
