Winchester 75T...anyone?

One of my recent acquisitions was a Winchester 75T. I picked it up because I couldn't find a Mossberg 44US for a steal. The 75 is in excellent condition, especially for it's age. Anybody have an affliction for these. Haven't had an opportunity for a range trip. PAX

The 75T is a nice rifle, nicer than the Mossberg 44, IMHO. I picked one up many years ago. Goes great with my 75 sporter.

Love my Remington 521T. It's identical to one I trained on as a junior high schooler in San Diego 50-plus years ago. And I stole it for $250.

I've had one for a while, 1941 made IIRC. Doesn't get used as much as it should, but I have a feeling as I get older my shoulder will be inclined to 22s a little more often. I switch back & forth between a Redfield peep rear with globe front sight and an old Litschert 10X external adjustable scope.

Believe it is seriously under rated. Great gun. But it's not a 52 so people ignore it. Have one US marked WW2 trainer. Still reliable and accurate.

Thanks for the input fellas. Although I'm an SKS junkie, I luvs me some .22s and have passel of them. They're just enjoyable to plink with. PAX

Do not have the Remington 75, but got a bunch of the CMP rimfires some years back......all are fun to shoot!

I have 75 Sporter and it is a beautiful rifle that hearkens back to the days when things in America where made to last generations. I don't shoot it much because it has iron sights, but it is a great rifle.

Hi Pax, Good to see you are still alive and kicking. This is Tommy in Boulder Creek.

I also have the Win 75, Win 52C and fresh out of jail on Tuesday, a 40X.
The 40x cost me $1,800.00, includes all that target stuff and 40x scope!.
Yaknow, the scope that is as long as the barrel and probably has bad optics.
Shipping was a killer for all that crap!

The Win 75 is a middle tier target gun, along the lines of the better Mossbergs,
and Rem 521's and 513's. Don't expect big bucks for the 75. They are long
in the tooth now, with just as good accuracy available for less in current models.
